Bell Canyon

Bell Canyon is one of the only areas in the San Fernando Valley that is part of Ventura County, as opposed to Los Angeles County. It is an unincorporated gated community, with less than 2,200 residents, only accessible through the city of West Hills on the Los Angeles County side. The city was named after Charles A. Bell, the original homesteader, and later developed into the community of Bell Canyon in 1967.

Though the city is only accessible by going through West Hills, once behind the gates, it’s like you’re in a whole different world.
